  To be fair, I hate shopping at Kohl’s. It seems as if they mark their prices way up to give you a discount. Anyway, I checked online to see if they had Converse shoes on sale and then went to the store to purchase 4 pairs as presents. I get to the register and the discount is only $5 off per pair instead of the $13.75 discount it showed online. The cashier responds to my inquiry that the price online is always lower than it is in any store, no matter what store I’m shopping at. I’ve worked in retail management for 25 years, and I can tell you, that this is absolutely not true of the majority of stores and their online presence. So, no price match, but I’m free to go home and order them at the cheaper price, and get free shipping. Do companies not realize why more and people are skipping the brick and mortar stores to shop online? Needless to say, I’ll just skip shopping Kohl’s altogether.
